We are a family-run company founded in 2002 and entered in the Lugano commercial register, based in Bioggio in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland. We work in steel construction for public and private clients.
Our goal is to satisfy our customers by providing a quality product and service.
Our areas of expertise are:
- Structural steelwork (industrial or commercial halls, bridges, canopies, footbridges, noise barriers, load-bearing structures for building and civil engineering, centring, etc.).
- Metalwork (railings, stairs, handrails, gates, steel windows and doors, etc.).
- Façade cladding and roofing (insulated sandwich panels, polycarbonate panels, aluminium composite panels, corrugated or trapezoidal steel sheets, corrugated or trapezoidal aluminium sheets, grating elements, substructures for ventilated façades, connecting and finishing flashings, etc.).
- Stainless steel works for water treatment plants and aqueducts (sluice gates, weirs, stop logs, hatches, walkways, railings, piping, etc.).
- Road engineering (cantonal and FEDRO vehicle restraint systems – crash barriers –, renovation of road expansion joints). Besides supplying and installing vehicle restraint systems according to FEDRO guidelines (DTC certificates), we also handle the sale of individual components.
- Doors and gates (escape-route doors, automated folding gates, etc.).
- Technical office services (detailed design, general and detail drawings, surveys and setting-out, etc.).
Our workshop covers a total of about 900 square metres with adjoining administrative and technical offices: 700 are dedicated to structural steelwork and metalwork and 200 to stainless steel (a separate building since 2013, to avoid contamination between the materials we process).
Our goal is to ensure the stability and growth of the company through customer satisfaction, a diversified product range, a commitment to continuous improvement, and by developing the skills of our staff and local resources.
To this end, over the years we have invested considerable effort in obtaining certifications that allow us to carry out major works with quality and safety. We are certified to EN 1090-2 in execution class EXC3, and our operational and technical staff have been trained in welding, safety and the use of lifting and transport equipment, with the related licences and certificates.
In our corporate strategy we pay great attention to corporate social responsibility. We are a training company, and when choosing staff and suppliers we give preference, as far as our capabilities and sustainability allow, to local resources. When looking for new staff we also rely on the regional employment offices (URC).
