CDALED (WWTP) Bioggio – Renovation and Modernisation of Sludge and Biogas Treatment

Following our success in the public tender launched by the Consorzio Depurazione Acque Lugano e Dintorni (CDALED), we carried out the metalwork for the renovation and modernisation of the sludge and biogas treatment at the Bioggio wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).

Specifically, we fabricated and installed approximately 125 metres of curved stainless steel railings, coordinated with the routing of the plant installations, to make the building's roofs safe. Along the stairs giving access to the roofs, we fabricated and installed 45 metres of stainless steel handrails.

To support the plant installations in various rooms, we fabricated and installed wall-mounted and suspended structural steel supports, while to ensure safe inspection access to the centrifuge room we designed, fabricated and installed various stainless steel hatches with their access stairs.

To complete the project, we carried out specific safety works such as gratings, infill sheets and covers with their supporting structures.
