Mendrisio SBB Station Extension – Railings and Handrails

Following our success in the public tender launched by the Swiss Federal Railways SBB for the extension of Mendrisio Station, in 2020 we built a total of 235 metres of railings mounted on a concrete structure to ensure passenger safety along the station's entire pedestrian route.

Besides the railings, the contract also included the supply and installation of 26 metres of stainless steel handrails in the north underpass area.

The entire contract involved processing approximately 7 tonnes of steel.
