New S.Antonino SBB Stop – Railings and Handrails

Following our success in the public tender launched by the Swiss Federal Railways SBB for the construction of the new S. Antonino stop, in 2020 we built a total of 625 metres of railings mounted on a concrete structure to ensure passenger safety along the pedestrian routes of the entire station.

Besides the railings, the contract also included the supply and installation of 246 metres of stainless steel handrails (anchored both to the railings and to the concrete) and 90 metres of wire mesh on the concrete Park&Rail.

The entire contract involved processing approximately 18 tonnes of steel and 90 square metres of wire mesh.
