Consortium Arge Mons Ceneris – Alptransit Camorino Junction – Sheds for the Railway Technology Installation of the Ceneri Base Tunnel

On behalf of our client Arge Mons Ceneris (Pizzarotti Suisse SA, Marti Tunnelbau AG, GCF s.p.a.), we fabricated and installed 4 sheds for the railway technology site installations used to fit out the Ceneri railway tunnel. We processed a total of 173 tonnes of steel and installed 6,700 m² of roofing and façade cladding. The rails will be assembled in the main shed and the rail vehicles will be serviced in the workshop, while the remaining two sheds will be used for refuelling and washing them.
