Consortium Lot 1004SV – Crash Barriers and Fencing for the S.Vittore Access Road

Following the mandate from Consortium Lot 1004 c/o Mancini & Marti SA, we were responsible for making the cantonal road at the entrance to S.Vittore safe. The work required dismantling and demolishing the existing crash barriers and replacing them, as well as adding new sections where the existing ones were deemed no longer compliant with standards.

In total, approximately 1.2 km of flexible barriers (driven, with base plates) were installed, using LSA (W-beam) and 5211/6211 (single box beam) systems, with the related transitions between systems and ground-level end terminals.

We also fabricated 550 metres of metal fencing and 2 double-leaf gates.

As part of the rehabilitation, we also carried out minor maintenance work.
