Description of the work
The project involves the construction of a two-storey service building measuring 52 m in length, 10 m in width and 8.3 m in overall height.
The building will include bedrooms, a workshop, a warehouse, offices, training and recreation rooms, as well as a covered track for the fire-fighting and rescue train.
The building will be constructed and certified to the Minergie P Eco standard.
Track 14 is planned as the stabling track for the fire-fighting and rescue train (TSS).
This track is covered over a length of approximately 80 m by a structural steel canopy.
A maintenance pit beneath track 14 is planned for the maintenance of the TSS.

Trapezoidal sheet roofing with perimeter flashings and flashings connecting to the façade.
10-tonne load-bearing and fixing structure for the track, consisting of 18 columns and longitudinal beams welded on site (execution class EXC3 according to EN 1090).
Polycarbonate façade cladding totalling approximately 880 m2, divided into 625 m2 for the infill of the building façade and 255 for the side infill of the canopy. Point-fixed substructure for the infill with aluminium brackets and the related press-braked, powder-coated sheet-metal work.
Plinth cladding with fibre-cement panels on a painted steel substructure, totalling approximately 240 m2.
Fixed multi-panel windows in thermally broken aluminium with occasional painted steel panels, totalling approximately 120 m2. These are fixed on subframes attached to the wall, with press-braked, powder-coated aluminium connecting sheet-metal work (flashings, reveals and sills).
